Florida moves up a spot to No. 6 in week 10 AP Poll
The Florida Gators were idle this past weekend as they prepare for their biggest game yet this coming Saturday against No. 8 Georgia. Georgia, who is also coming off of a bye week, moved up two spots from No. 10.
As we covered in a previous article, Dan Mullen expects to have Jabari Zuniga, Jonathan Greenard and Kadarius Toney back and healthy for Georgia on Saturday. What did this mean for the Gators? Well, getting Zuniga and Greenard back on defense is a game changer. The ability to bring pressure on the ends should hopefully keep Fromm uncomfortable in the pocket. Zuniga and Greenard will also have to step up stop the bleeding for Florida’s run defense after giving up 435 rushing yards over the past two contests.
With the return of Kadarius Toney, look for the speedster to be all over the field on Saturday. Although his touches may be limited, Toney should bring a distraction to Georgia’s defense that will turn into open holes down the field for Trask.
We’re just about five days shy until we find out who will be in control of the SEC East. Stay tuned for more updates as the week goes on.
